A handloom tissue silk Kanjeewaram saree woven in pure zari — not the gold or silver imitation commonly used — giving it a soft, muted sheen rather than a loud shine. The pallu is worked with Shikargah motifs: rows of small hunting-scene figures, birds and florals set within a checkered grid, echoing the storytelling borders of old court textiles. The blouse is separately woven in a patola-inspired pattern as shown in the pictures. The saree is reversible, with a clean finish on both sides, and unusually soft and lightweight for a Kanjeewaram, making it easy to drape and wear for long hours. Blouse included.

Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu is home to one of India's most celebrated silk weaving traditions. This tissue silk variant uses a finer, lighter thread count that retains the richness of a classic Kanjeewaram while adding a flowing softness rarely found in the heavier silk. The Shikargah motif — Persian for 'hunting ground' — travelled into Indian textile vocabulary through Mughal courtly patronage, and appears here reimagined in the pallu as a grid of small figures and florals. The blouse borrows from the resist-dyed Patola weaving tradition of Gujarat, translated into a woven pattern to complement the saree. Each piece is hand-woven on a pit loom by GI-certified weavers.
